- How does the test kit work?You'll get clear, simple instructions in the kit. No clinic visit, no needles, just a stool sample collected at home and sent to the lab in the prepaid packaging provided.
- How long does it take to see results?It takes about 5 weeks from when you send in your sample for us to receive the lab results, then allow 5 business days for your recorded video walkthrough.
- Is the results video really personalized to me?Yes. It's not a generic explainer — it's a walkthrough of your specific GI Map results (pathogens, bacteria balance, inflammation markers) explained in plain English.
- Do I need to be a current patient to order this?No. This is available as a standalone service, no existing relationship with the clinic required.
- Will I get a specific treatment plan?You'll receive an explainer of your results with broad guidelines to help you get started. This package is an educational snapshot, not personalized treatment — since a specific plan requires knowing your full health history and symptoms, it doesn't include ongoing practitioner care. If you'd like a tailored plan, you have the option to follow up with a practitioner separately.

- What's your refund policy on this?The Gut Health Snapshot includes a comprehensive GI Map stool test and a recorded video walkthrough of your results, explained section-by-section by one of our practitioners. This is designed to give you a clear snapshot of what your results mean.
This service does not include a personalized treatment plan. If you'd like tailored guidance on next steps, you can book a 20-minute Acute Consult separately after receiving your results.
Refunds: Lab testing costs are non-refundable once your kit has shipped, as these are paid directly to our lab partner. - What if I have questions after watching my results video?You can email us and book a follow up consult.
